After 7 years of research and studies, the Européenne confederation of Liege (E.C. LIEGE) has to work out the International code of cork stopper manufacturing practices, a guide of the good practices of the trades of the lièges. The objective of this code is to put pursuant to the methods which make it possible to fight against the sensory anomalies related to the aromas/corrupted tastes of the wine and in particular the 2.4.6 - Trichloroanisol (TCA), Tetrachloroanisol (TeCA) and Pentachloroanisol (PCA).
