The specifications of the International Code of the Practices Bouchonnières (SYSTECODE) bring the guarantee to us to obtain cork products of great quality. In complement our charter quality mainly integrates the specifications of the standards ISO 14001 and 22000 and the results of the analyses of the dangers and control of critical points HACCP. Engagement in our charter quality has only one objective the satisfaction of our customers. Our first action is at the level of the evolution of the international code of the practices bouchonnières of which we follow the evolution. Cork did not finish not delivered all its secrecies and the studies about it enable us to improve our manufacturing processes of stoppers and products in lièges before even as E.C. Liege take into account these new observations. Within the framework of the preparation of certification ISO 14001 and 22000, we follow also the evolution of specifications of these standards.
Our second action relates to the special attention with which we maintain our machines and equipments productions. Indeed our measuring devices and of control are important in obtaining products of quality, this is why we have contracts service or process of internal control guaranteeing the good performance of our various equipment.
Various qualities of stoppers of lièges or discs of lièges are mainly given by morphological criteria of the product. Thus the visual monitoring which allows this selection carries out in 3 stages:
| For the control of first level, we have modern systems of video control of approximately 70 measuring devices which analyze in few thousandth seconds the various aspects of the product. This automatic selection of the quality of our stoppers is an insufficient big step but to obtain a satisfying level of quality. |

Thus our 150 collaborators charged to control the stoppers of lièges visually allow us to obtain the level of quality which we require. This control of second level makes it possible to optimize our selection because the human eye is irreplaceable. Our collaborators are permanently trained, evaluated and followed médicalement to guarantee a maintenance of the level of quality that we assert ourselves in our charter of quality. |
Ultimate visual monitoring in our manufacturing processes, we take samples among the various selections to check the homogeneity of the batches. This stage enables us to guarantee a product of quality with our customers. We select 1/500 stop or cork discs to check the quality and the homogeneity of our batches at exit of production. The esemble of these visual monitorings which constitute the insurance to obtain a homogeneous product and of quality, precede the stage by washing and treatments which will make it possible to obtain stoppers of lièges to the properties phisico-chemical required.
In partnership with CTCOR (Technological Center of Liege), our internal laboratory carries out tests on samples of stoppers and cork discs which enable us to guarantee a rate TCA (Tricloroanisol) lower 0,2 ng/l of TCA. This molecule which can give rise to so that one calls the “taste of stopper”, is the object of all our concerns in all the stages of our production processs. This level of contamination lower than 0,2 ng/l is regarded as exceptable and not being able with him only to deteriorate the ageing of the liquid which it contains.
Our objective is to obtain a perfect product as well on the level of its visual aspect as of its physicochemical properties. |
